“One of the last of London’s working men’s clubs — built by community, still run by community.”

About us
More than a watering hole.
A calm, civil and characterful place to meet, talk, play, celebrate and keep a rare London institution alive.
The Mildmay Club began as a place for working class people to discuss politics and enjoy the social splendour of a pub in a more civil atmosphere. Over the decades it became a social hub, an events venue, a sports home and a living archive.
Today, its Victorian red-brick frontage opens onto a theatre, rifle range, snooker hall, bar and dance floor. Its walls still carry the stories of members who served on the Western Front and of the community who supported them from home.
